KGSG Serves the Lower Columbia Basin with a 24 hour Southern Gospel music format..Simply Gospel. Our transmitter covers the Tri-Cities (Pasco, Kennewick, Richland) area in Washington and the Hermiston and Umatilla areas in Oregon.  KGSG signed on in April of 1997 and is locally owned and operated.

The Music

Simply Gospel KGSG plays Southern Gospel with a mix of other Gospel music forms 24 hours per day. Featured artists include the Gold City, The Gaither Vocal Band, Charles Johnson and the Revivers, Karen Peck and New River, and the Talley Trio, in a mix that we call Gospel Music Variety. This music is upbeat and has the lyrics out front, yet contains various styles to keep it uplifting, exciting and interesting. The music is always fresh on Simply Gospel, where we blend new releases with recent favorites to create a dynamic and enriching sound.

24 Hours a Day

Simply Gospel broadcasts music and music-related programming 24 hours a day. Any time you need to hear that special uplifting, dynamic sound, just tune us in! 

• Paul Heil's The Gospel Greats airs every Saturday and Sunday from noon to 2 PM.  Each edition of the Gospel Greats is full of music and information about artists, songwriters, and more!  

• Friday's at noon, tune in to 93.7 to listen in on Southern Styles with Rob Patz, just added to our award-winning show line-up.  This fast moving program plays the best of the new and old in Southern Gospel.  Be sure to listen Friday's at noon on 93.7.

• If you like the Bluegrass flavor of Gospel Music, you'll love Les Butler's Front Porch Fellowship, aired from 2 to 3 PM both Saturday and Sunday.

• And, Sunday mornings are made more enjoyable by Jim Black and "Breakfast Bob" on Solid Gospel Sunday.

Of Course, when we're not featuring special programming, of course, we play that Gospel Music Variety!

Simply Gospel appeals to a wide range of listeners, young and old, with its happy, upbeat sound and positive, easy to understand lyrics. This music will entertain your whole family and keep you on the right track throughout the day.

The Personalities

KGSG's programming is originated here in the Mid-Columbia.  In this way we have a strong local flavor that provides programming tailored to the Lower Columbia Basin. All our “DJ’s” love this kind of music and provide strong programming and enjoyable entertainment. Listen Mark Gibbson in the mornings, Shari mid-morning to afternoons and Mike Edwards evenings and weekends broadcasting the best Gospel Music from right here in the Tri-Cities!
