The Mid-Columbia Gospel Music Top 40 The Mid-Columbia Gospel Music Top 40 is an annual countdown program hosted by KGSG. Each year, we take the most-played songs on Simply Gospel, and place these on a "ballot" as eligible songs for the Top 40. Then, we turn loose our listeners on that ballot, compile the results, and prepare for our 5 hour program on a Saturday in late January. We have lots of fun finding
out what those songs are, doing giveaways every 15 minutes, and
interacting with our listeners. This is a great way to "warm up" a cold winter weekend
afternoon. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

2007. Each listener that voted received a project by a Gospel artist as KGSG's thanks for their voting. Sponsors of the 16 segments offset the costs of the program and provided cash for prizes. Prizes were also donated by many promoters and artists in the Gospel music industry.
